I am experiencing an issue at startup with one of my engines.
Problem: The engine starts with no problem, but goes to excessive high RPM's, then settles down. I am very concerned due to the fact that the oil mixture hasn't had enough time to lubricate the cylinder and reach operating temperature.
I have replaced both the high and low pressure pumps and thoroughly cleaned the VSTs.
Is there an automatic choke adjustment or may there be underlying issues.
