2000 mercruiser 4 cylinder carb problems

Every time I turn the engine off gas just pours through the carb. I have cleaned the carb. Any ideas.

Where does the gas appears to be coming from?

seems like it is coming from the jets

Do you have a clear plastic hose going into the carb, that shows signs of having gasoline in it?

Yes, I deciced to tear the carb apart again today just to double check everything and found the needle valve in upside down.
