2000 johnson won't start repaired

After doing what I could do with my limited boat knowledge I called in the local Mobil marine mechanic who had helped me over the phone. We worked together ( he worked I learned ) and found the timing sensor bad. Replaced with a test sensor motor fired right up (beautiful sound) I went to the closest town with a johnson dealer bought one replaced it started motor again sounded great thanks for all the replies.
