2000 Johnson 25hp carburetor help!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm wanting to rebuild the carburetor that is below and I have a couple questions. The carburetor's part number is 5000883 and the number on the carb shows HY432700. The 2 circles is showing what they're calling lead shots in the parts diagram. My questions are. Do you take these out when you rebuild the carb to clean jets out and if so' how do they come out and how to you put them back in? Any help would be appreciated.

Don't touch them------What is your motor doing / not doing that leads you to " rebuild " the carburetor.----What trouble shooting has been done , if any ??

The guy told me that when he got it out to run it that it started up but it was sputtering and then it would die.

What are those lead shot plugs for?

At the factory they drill holes in the carburetor body for internal fuel passages.----Then these holes must be plugged.
