2000 Johnson 150 Ocean Pro cutting out

"Greetings, my 150 will run go

"Greetings, my 150 will run good at idle and 4000 rpm's. If I bring it down to 3500 it starts cutting out and will die. This is the only rpm I have a problem with. 3000 or 4000 it runs good. Got manuals, any suggestions."
