2000 Honda BF 90 cowl latch replacement

My front latch on my BF90 moto

My front latch on my BF90 motor cowling snapped off. I think there was a build up of salt as it basically seized and trying to work it back and forth with WD ended up breaking it off. It looks like this was pressed in. Where can I find replacement parts for this and the procedure. I did not see it in the manual I have. Has anybody else done this... It seems like I shouldnt need a service technician for this but I don't know. Thanks

"look after the silver bullet {honda}better .Maybe ring around some boat wreckers or you may have to purchase a whole new cover, I have the same motor and downloaded pdf manual and there is a small section explaining how to adjust it. For the time being gaff tape the cover on so you can still hit the water."

"It actually got stuck so bad it broke off, which is why I have to replace it. I downloaded the parts blow-up JIT recommended. Now I have to figure out where to get the service bulletins. I was the original owner but never received any after I had it installed in 01 (00 motor).
