2000 honda 90 tach setting

i have a 2000 90 and would like to know what the tach should be set at it is a aftermarket tach it has a couple settings on the back any help would be great

What is the brand of the tachometer? If it is a Faria, it should be setting 1.
If it is a Teleflex, it should be 2P.

Be sure that it is an outboard tachometer.
