" I'm experiencing intermittent starting problems with my outboard. Turn the key and the normal engine test passes but the engine will not do anything (nothing at all). I removed the power dist. panel cover and checked the fuses, all were good. I changed all four relays and the engine started. After about twenty minutes, shot down the engine and tried to start again, nothing happened. Moved a few wires connected to the power dist. panel and it started. Any ideas on how to narrow down what may be causing this? Thanks in advance for any suggestions. PH "

I have a 2000 225 ficht andhave the same problem I had found a fuse in the motor that was blown (20amp) but my motor still does nothing. I will try the relays and see if that will help. If you have any more info please pass it on.
