motor runs fine 15-40 min. and

motor runs fine 15-40 min. and shuts off.after it shuts off it has no spark to the engine.after it sets a couple hours it will restart and do the same thing again.
 
i am having the same problem w

i am having the same problem with mine but mine is a 150 fast strike. i have replaced the powerpack and stator. nobody seems to be able to figure out what is wrong with it. even the dealership cant seem to fix it. i have had some people tell me it is either a bad coil pack or the stator is getting hot.

ok i have researched this problem for days now. the most obvious problem that would cause this is if it is powerhead is overheating and entering SLOW. if not then the sensor may be bad. if not that then the next step i have been told is to check the stator.
