"I went to get off the lake today and turned the key and NOTHING. The system lights check out ok but turn the key past aux and zilch, nothing. I found a 20amp fuse that was blown. it looks like it come of the ignition module. All the fuses in there look ok. I wonder about the relays??

" I don't have good news for you. This just recently happened to me with a 2000 Ficht 200hp. Exact same thing, the 20amp fuse is part of the 40volt starter assist circuit for providing additional current to the starter and fuel injectors during start up. You keep blowing fuses and the system check tests OK. You can test the relies in the power distribution panel, but they will probably test OK. The problem is most likely a "fried" rectifier that is part of the 40volt starter assist circuit. The big problem is that the rectifier is in your EMM /ECU. The bad news, the EMM is not replaceable, it can only be remanufactured. The only group I know of that does repairs is DFI Technologies. You will have to mail them your EMM and injector serial numbers so DFI can repair and tune the EMM to the injectors. The remanufacturing runs $700 + shipping, but the only catch is DFI will only replace what has failed and they only have a 90 days gaurantee on the replacement. If DFI knows about other faulty EMM components that are working, they might not replace them only the "fried" rectifier. And if something else blows its another $700 + shipping to get it fixed. So I would recommend that you have an Evinrude dealer run a diagnostic to verify this problem. This runs $100 - $150. Also it would be beneficial to let your dealer pull the EMM, ship it, reconnect, test and tune the engine. Mine blew because while running a faulty livebait pump seal was leaking and squirting water into the battery selector switch most likely crossing the + / -, cooking the rectifier. "
