This site is great. Everyone has been such a great help in the past!!
New problem: Suzuki DF 40, year 2000. Sunk the engine last year in the fall-- my insurance paid to have a tech go over it, change all the relays, flush it, dialectical grease on all the connections, etc-- it looks new-- like it always did.
Started it monthy through the winter. Now its time to go and it will not start. Plugs are firing but no gas. At first it flooded out so bad gas poured out of the bottom cylinder when I pulled the plug. Now no gas at all. Fuel injectors make no "clinking" sound-- following the manual's diagnostics. All connections and fuses good. I then notice a small hole (2mm) in the bottom of the ECM unit.
Is it fair to assume to the ECM is ruined? Any easy tests? And who sells them at the most reasonable price?
