"Ser.# 601062 Mallory dist. with balast rest.
I noticed recently that at times this engine would not start in the ignition start position ,but would start when the key was released to the run position. The problem is now consistant.I changed the ing.switch, and it seemed to correct for a short time, but now it will not start in the start positon.I checked and cleaned the connections ,bal.rest.,start relay.coil, and no corrosion was evident.Any help in this regard would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks; JPM"
