2000 9.9 evinrude 4 stroke

I have this motor and have recently noticed gas in the oil. Is there a gas shut off that I am missing for transport and storage? Why is fuel leaking into the crankcase?

Perhaps an issue with the fuel pump diaphragm.----Perhaps an issue with float valve in carburetor.-----Always run fuel out of the carburetor before pulling boat from the water.-----Fuel pump repair kit is available I believe.
