2000 50hp with lower unit gear carrier corrosion

My motor has a leaking lower unit seal and the mechanic (honda dealer) can't get the nut off. Any good ideas or go-to mechanic or machine shop in the Annapolis area. The case isn't cracked...yet.

Depending on usage salt vs. fresh, you may have a tough time with corroded/frozen bolts.
Mine cracked last November and I had it welded , still going strong.
