2000 50hp mercury

Had starter rebuilt, put it back in same thing,,bought a new starter same thing.
Motor will turn over with 3 spark plugs in, not with all 4 in. It doesn't matter what plug you take out,it just wont turn over with all 4 plugs in
Motor has very few hours on it,,was running fine, it did set up for about 6months covered
Would like to try and fix if I knew where to start

Can you turn by hand with all 4 in it?

Inspect battery cables.----Have battery load tested.-----Even if it is a new battery !

Also, you MIGHT have a bad lower unit that's rusted up. Check for water in the oil.

thank you for your reply,,wow its been that long ago I posted, just haven had time.
I havent tried to turn by hand, I will give it a try. ( I am 68 so I might have to get a young next door neighbor ) Can you tell me what that would indicate to you if I can, or cant.

I haven't checked that,,but I will. So I understand if there is water, it might have froze and caused some damage,,right
