Hi,
I have a 2000 5.0 L MC which loses temperature as RPMs increase. I have just installed a new 160 deg. thermostat hoping that it would solve the problem. No luck. At 1000 RPMs it is showing 142 deg. At 3500 RPMs it drops to 100 deg. I noticed on another post the exact same problem described but it did not go on to say how it was resolved. My luck... The other post did mention that he had replaced the impeller, had recently replaced his risers and still had the problem. I am going to check the heat sensor on the thermostat housing. Any other suggestions?
Thanks inadvance
