"Hi: Put boat in last week, and engine started and ran fine at hi and low speeds. Went to start it again, it started rough and then stopped. Turns over but doesn't catch. Cleaned fuel filter and plugs look OK. Put 93 octane gas w/Stabil in tank. Still no luck. Any quick & easy things I can do before going to repair guy. Thanks"

"Nope, sounds like a clog in the fuel system. And yes, very typical that today it would start fine and tomorrow you can pull the rope until you have blisters (or drain the battery) and she won't go.

That's a common issue, particularly after a period of storage - the first time she starts fine, but the gas disloges any cooties in the system and gums it up for the second time out..."
