It seems like the rectifier regulator assy is bad but I am trying to confirm that. The charging stator is not open. I have checked the 60 amp fuses and they are both fine. I have 12 volts to them also. One of the green wires on the rectifier seems to be shorted to ground. I do not have a service manual on this engine so I am guessing. This unit has 2 water lines going to it for cooling and I believe the water pump on this engine failed once so it is possible this unit failed due to heat. Anyone here know anything about these?
