2000 150 optimax will not run with open throttle

"I have a 2000 Lund Pro-V 1800 w/150 optimax
The motor will start just fine and run at low RPMs (1500rpms or less)but when open up the throttle, it sounds like it's running out of gas and quit running. Sometimes it will start right back up and sometimes not.If I wait a while it will start back but do it allover again.Shows no fault codes on the computer.At wits end at what could be the problem!!!"

"fuel blockage? air in fuel lines losing pressure and when engine shuts off the fuel then replenishes the line. check all fuel lines and even invest in an inline fuel pressure regulator.

check and change plugs, fresh fuel outboards can be temperamental especially injected engines. get a couple of bottles of injector cleaner and run it through the tank it may just be clogged injectors."
