2000 150 hp Ocean Pro max rpm 4200

I have a 2000 150 HP Johnson ocean Pro. Just rebuilt all six carbs after having a low speed miss and rough idle. Replaced fuel filter and fuel pump last year due to a crack in the fuel pump housing. Engine now idles and runs smooth but cannot reach Max rpm of 5400 and loss of power. Max RPM is 4100 checked spark on all six cylinders with a spark gap tester spark is good, compression 100lb on all six cylinders. Looing for some advice.

Is bottom of hull clean? Extra water weight in compartment or hull? Running same prop as last year? Tried pumping primer bulb while she's running? Checked every clamp on fuel lines physically?Linc+ sync done on carbs? Possible air leak in fuel system
 
Yes to everything except Syncing the carbs. Not sure how to do this since there are no high speed adjustment only idle air screw.
 
While engine is running pull one spark plug wire at a time with plastic pliers to see if rpm drops,place wire back on and repeat with next cylinder

I have the same motor in a 1999. Unless you have disturbed something it should not be necessary to resynch the carbs. The beauty of this design with the separate throttle body / metering body is that you can remove the metering bodies for cleaning without disturbing linkages, hoses etc.... It really is a marvelous piece of engineering from a maintenance standpoint. I have had my carbs of 2-3 times over the years. I clean 6 carbs inside of 2 hours. I could never do this on my older engines where one had to disconnect hoses, disturb the linkages etc.....
