"I have lost my high voltage spark as well. I have not pulled the flywheel yet, but I have ordered a "puller" to screw on it to lift it off. I will hunt and peck with a multimeter with you on this problem and maybe we can keep from killing a wounded engine."

"Try to check your basics first. Voltage regulator, switch box, Coils, etc.. I had a 92 75hp mercury with a bad switch box and a bad voltage regulator. i had no spark at all when the voltage regulator went out. Just a bit of info. p.s. I purchased a flywheel puller also in an attempt to fix the problem and never used it. $65 dollars still in the box... good luck"
