"I have a 1999 200 Johnson Oce

"I have a 1999 200 Johnson Ocean Runner. The motor starts great and idles fine. Once in gear it run s ok but when I run between 1200-3600 RPMs its shakes and misses like crazy. Once it over 3800 rpms the motor runs great. New plugs, Oil tank, oil line, oil pump.

Any suggestions? Thanks"
 
Check the gearcable adjustment

Check the gearcable adjustment and shift interrupt switch. Give the switch and slide system a squirt of WD40 to be sure it is not sticking.
