"I now have 210 hrs. on my motor. i plan to put the pump assy. in myself. I have done so on older omc's merc's and a force without complications. Is the 05 z200 similar? The dealer performed my 100 hr service. After the service the speedo quit. I was told the pickup hose is tricky to put back on ?? what other maint. should be done. Plugs, t-stats, water seperaters, ???????"

I have a 97 225 yamaha salt se

I have a 97 225 yamaha salt series that sounded the water alarm today. I had to get towed in because I didn't want to cause any damage. There is no water coming out of the motor when it's running. I figure it's the pump. My question is how difficult is it to change out. Thanks
