"I am a bit of a newbie to boat motors
I have 1989 25 hp merc and an 1987 20 hp merc,
I am wondering if the bottom ends are the same and can I convert my 20 to a 25. The 25 is a salvage motor that a friend fished out of a lake. It ran after he dried it out but did not stay that way,
It has something wrong with the bottom end that is why I was thinking of a conversion to my 20
