Hello, i looking after a diagram over the oil system/hoses for 1997 Johnson Oceanrunner 115.
i now rebuild a motor and want to plug all oil hoses on the powerhead when the engine is reassembled.
The motor will be mutch "cleaner" when all the oil hoses is gone.
I will mix the oil directly into the gasoline.
Hope you can help...i have no luck in my search so far:(

All those little hoses are for the oil recirculation system and the motor wouldn't run properly without them.

Thank you for your answer.
I have one more of these motors in use, on that motor i have plugged the main oil hose and dissconnected the oil alarm, run perfect....what is the difference between pluging all the small oil hoses and only plug the main hose ?

I have now dissambled the motor down to parts, i see that i need to replace one cylinder sleeve, is this a job i can do without special tools ? someone who have done this job ?
I am an old 2stroke mechanic but have newer done this on a outboard.
Thankfull for help !

Sleeving is best left to a machine shop.
Typically, a machine shop bores the old sleeve out, measures the remaining bore for a match fit with the new sleeve.
Then they heat the block to expand the bore hole, cool the new sleeve to compress the sleeve, and then in a quick controlled operation, they slide/press the new sleeve in,
all the while making absolutely sure it is aligned and positioned properly.

I know I wouldn't try it.

The small hoses are part of the internal oil recirculation system.---Totally seperate from the oil INJECTION system !

Ok, then they dont need to be there when i have the oil mixed with the fuel ?....can not understand how they will do a needed job then ?
I had a talk to a shop today and they want to bore two og the cylinders, one on eatch side.

It has been proven to me time and time again that most folks are not well versed with how lubrication works.-------And not well versed on what happens to 2 stroke oil once it is inside the engine block !!-----These recirc hoses are part of the internal oil recirculation system.------------Talk to a good mechanic to find out how this works.---------I do not think I can explain it any simpler.-------Not sure why I have to repeat that it is NOT part of the oil injection system !!!
