1999 mercruiser 454 fuel injected idle too high

My friend just bought this boat. A 1999 sea ray 34. The port engine idles at 1200 rpm. Is that a turn of the screwdriver fix or is that a computer problem? It runs great otherwise.

no screw to turn...could be a handful of items - fastest way to find it would be to get a scan tool and check for DTCs

Is the tach reading correctly?

We think so. You can definitely tell its running faster than the starboard.

Lol. Problem solved. A hose clamp on the exhaust hose was turned so that the throttle cable could not return all the way down. Love those types of problems.
