Hi,
I have a 225 venom that I blown about 3 years ago... I am thinking about rebuilding it. It had less than 40 hours on it at the time it blew... There is a hole on the right side of the block about the diameter of a nickle.
Anyone know whether I could have the hole welded? If so, who would I use and what type of weld/material is recommended/ needed for this type of application for an outboard motor? If not, what would be the most economical way to rebuild it.. What steps are best to take in a rebuild?
I thought about selling the motor straight out for parts but it is in such good shape and still looks fairly, nice.
Please help.
