My lower unit was just replaced and we went to go out and the engine started fine, idled out and then quit. My mechanic rebuilt the carbs and we again went out and the engine started, idled fine and then when we went to get up on plane, at about 2000 rpms, the engine stalls out.
My mechanic has replaced the power pack, optical sensor and even run it on a 6 gallon tank of fresh fuel but it is still doing the same thing.
Any suggestions. I want to keep my boat....it is my chance to get out with my son and grandson. Thanks.
