i have a 1999 evinrude 70 4s model# E70PL4EE
question 1....does this motor have a tell tail or tattle tail as they are called that spits water out for visual verification that the impeller is working? i dont see a place for it to shoot out and doesnt shoot out when running. supposedly had a new impeller installed when i purchased motor two komonths ago.
question 2..... this motor came with the warning guage that has 4 warning lights. i purchased a faria tachometer model # 33850 thats a tach with the four warning lights across the bottom combo guage. the factory plug is exact fit in the new guage but tach is not working. anyone able to tell me if this is the correct guage. no luck with contacting faria today for tech support.
