1999 90 HP mercury stalls after starting

3 cyl oil injected...starts fine. But dies 4-10 seconds later..did get it to stay going for a bit by pumping bulb repeatedly..fuel pump maybe?....
Gas good,good hoses and bulbs,plugs good,fuel enricher clicks and works(11.4)ohms,no fuel seperater,no gas screen or vent..vent tube goes to cap...going to pull gas line from pump to carb tomorrow and see what I got for fuel flow...any other ideas?

Time for carb's kits? At least 2 need to be affected as the engine should run roughly on just 2.....I would think. I agree that a common (to all 3) would be the first place to look. Disconnect a fuel line preceeding the large white filter and using a cotton swab, swab the inside of the fuel line connected to the filter. If you see tiny black specks your filter is probably clogged....on that year engine time for internal fuel lines to be breaking down....BTDT on clogged filter and reason. Since you have one end of the filter disconnected, go ahead and pull it and see if you can blow through it....in the same direction as the fuel flows....arrow on the side of he filter shows the direction.....something to try.
