"Wanted to say thanks to all that took the time to help me and I can now share my story from two other posts. Well it turnes out that all my injectors were pluged with a white jelly goo? The system checked out but after a great machanic hooked up his injector tester and fuel PSI gauge found that when he fired the injector there was no PSI loss that was due to the Injector being plugged and not bleeding down when forced open. Guys with injection having problems, have your guy do this simple test before you go crazy and start replacing everything, he told me 9 out of 10 times this is the issue so make sure you take care of your fuel system and save lots of money.
Thanks and good luck, Steve"

"glad to hear all worked out, I'm new here and wondered if you could explain a little more about what caused this goo. were you using a fuel treatment? I use sta bil marine with every fill up just to help fight phase separation from the dreaded E-10, now the powers of want to push for E-15, and that will not work in boats so I'm told.
Thanks in advance."

"GL115, thanks and I asked my ace this question. He said it was part bad fuel and parts of fiter material that made up the clear goo in the injectors but thats just a guess but not a bad one as the filter was very very bad and had the same stuff in it. As for the gas treatment, I bought the boat at the end of last year and was told it was treated but that was not the case so I will be adding a treatment with eack new tank of fuel. Now the big question, when the e-15 comes along my machanic told me that the injectors should be changed and blueprinted also a new map/download in the controler and a set of hot plugs to burn the fuel better. The problem is the BTU in e-15 is much lower than regular unleaded so it is harder to burn thus the hotter setup and injectors. Costs? This is a ball park but $400 to $500 a motor should do it and this is with labor. Hope this helps and I plan on making this change for next year. Thanks Steve"

"That stinks when people do that and glad its fixed.
Thanks for the E-15 info, did not know there was a cure in the works, in boat bucks $400 is not bad,
I have been calling my politicians reminding them how many boaters there are and most of us vote.
look at E-85, it is now more costly then regular and if your lucky you get 3/4 of the milage. all it did in my opinion was made the cost of my corn flakes double in price."
