"I just bought this engine and it is hard to start. After it gets going it idles well and will rev high quickly. Once you put it in gear and get on the gas, it is sluggish and hesitates, it cuts in and out. One in 5 times it will take off like a bat out of heck and after a quarter mile at WOT it will just cut out.what should I do?"

"Most of us speak old OMC here. My guess is that your engine is completely computer controlled, or nearly so. If it were mine, I would have the dealer hook all of their wizardry to it."
