" When I got off the water the other day and tilted the motor up for trailering, saltwater drained out of the front of the cowling. When I got home, I ran it on the muffs, and sure enough, water started puddling at the bottom of the motor. I pulled my airbox off and could see salt deposits inside it. I also fouled a plug (starboard bottom cyl).
Where and how is the water getting into the cowling, and is this what fouled my plug? Can I expect internal damage from the ingested water?
