Boating season about over in my part of the country and have to think about winterizing. I'm a do-it-yourselfer so im interested in more information about this engine this being the first winter with the motor. I am wanting to know if the power head holds water and needs to be flush with anti-freeze or is there a drain plug that can be pulled to drain it or is this a none issue. This motor is installed on a pontoon and will be stored outside.

It self-drains when kept vertical. Don't store it tilted or ice can form behind the prop and crack the case. There are a few simple procedures for off-season storage; fuel stabilization, engine fogging, gear oil change, etc.
