"1998 Mercury 150 XR6.

BEEP BEEP BEEP...

Beeping starts imidiately after key is turned.
Replaced oil sensor cap.
Tac was maxed out, replaced both voltage regulators, that fixed tac but still beeps.
Water stream is sporatic, drizzle to spurts, sometimes stops all together.
Water stream will get steady after reving at high rpm, beep momentarily stops.
Is this model equiped with an upper water pump?
I did replace the lower impellor, but just the wheel, not the whole kit. It looked fine, no effect on water flow after replacing.
Engine seems to be getting oil fine.
Any ideas? Pleassssseeee!"

"Another question, does this engine have 2 impellers?
Like a top and bottom? Is there an actual water pump? Could this be the cause of my alarm beeps?
An obstruction maybe? Unfortunately I do not have the manual with this engine."
