Hello, I’m currently having and issue with my Mercury 125 where it loses power at speed and bogs down temporarily. This also happens sometimes to where the motor will not gain power past a certain rpm until it stutters and eventually catches and begins running correctly. I’ve done some research and I’m believing that it has something to do with the fuel system and activating the 2+2 features in this motor. I’m not sure what could cause it but the motor seems to drop in power randomly or after a bump on the water occasionally. It doesn’t happen all the time but it has gotten more common recently. All four spark plugs do have spark to them (I know because they shocked me, new plug wires needed) and the motor does idle on the top two spark plugs.

Leaking accelerator pump diaphragm or out of adjustment could contribute to those symptoms. Been awhile but I think the plunger gap was .020" away from touching the throttle cam.

I have the same exact problem, did you ever find a resolution?
Thank you
