I recently purchased a 93 four winns with a 98 mariner 200 efi offshore outboard. Today was the first time I tried putting it on the water. Motor starts right up but will not accelerate. At full throttle the boat will not go more than 5 mph. I hear grinding unless I am in neutral or full throttle. Does anybody have any idea what the problem could be? Do I need a new lower unit? I did a compeession test before purchasing numbers were at 103 and 105 in all 6 cylinders. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks
