If you dont pump the bulb the

If you dont pump the bulb the engine slows down\I have repleaced the bulb with a mercury 3/16 id same as the factory. Cant get the bulb to harden/ firm up. is this a fuel pump problem?
 
if you have to pump the bulb t

if you have to pump the bulb to gain speed either you have e fuel leak or a air leak in the gasket behind the fuel pump or a bad pump

i THINK ITS A GASKET BECAUSE WHEN i PUMP THE BULB IT SOUNDS LIKe AIR IN THE FUEL PUMP AREA.

dIDNT WANT TO GO TO THE SHOP RIGHT BEFORE FALL.

Just started last weekend on our way in. seemed fine at no wake speed"
