1998 Johnson 15 hp

Ok so I bought a 1998 Johnson 15 hp outboard. I am used to the old 50's style motors.

What it the smaller knob at the end of the tiller handle used for(not the throttle control)?

Does any one have an operation guide (pdf form) for this motor?

It is the idle speed adjustment. Clockwise to increase the speed, anticlockwise to reduce it ( I think)

On older models it incorporated the stop button as well!
