1998 Evinrude 70 horse

I have a 1998 Evinrude 70 horse. After the motor gets warm I lose all power and makes a ticking noise when it bogs down before dyeing. I have a very good stream of water coming out of the pee hole and I am not getting any alarms. Any ideas and help would be much appreciated.

Check your spark when it dies and see what it has. Use an open air gap spark tester.
