Replaced my entire water pump on my freshwater only 98 60hp evinrude, model E60TLECM and now in gear at high RPM the water through tell tale entirely stops pumping. First slows then turns to steam and then nothing. It will overheat but I kill the engine. In neutral I can give it as much throttle as I want and it will continue pumping. It also is fine going slower. I’ve checked exaughst manifold housing for a blockage all looks good, replaced tstat regardless(old seemed fine threw it in some boiling water), and reverse flushed the engine by pumping water through tell tale outlet with LU off (no crud came out of water tube just water).
Now my question to rule out basics, the oem water pump kit came with 2 O rings both labeled as driveshaft o rings for different year lower units. I used neither. However in the image attached my service manual shows oring H and C neither supplied with the kit. And o ring C is not shown as reinstalled in the manual. Should these have been included?
