1998 75hp losing power

I have a 1998 75hp Merc, starts and idles fine, runs ok up to 1/4 throttle, but drops a cylinder
at higher throttle position?

Any thoughts on the possible issue?

4 stroke or two? If its a two stroke it sounds like your high speed jet is plugged on one or more cyl. It could also be fuel restricted. Change fuel filter and check for and broken fuel lines. A pin hole can cause this issue.

Need more info. how do you know it drops a cyl?
