Hi Folks,

So my engine has in the last week; (they say it comes in three's!!!)

1. got a rusted out raw water pump (easy to fix, 2 new pumps ordered to be safe)
2. lost voltage on / from alternator (may be from salt damage from above mentioned pump leaking...yet to diagnose, ie swap with port and see the difference)...
3. most importantly, is not too happy about starting up...

seems to partially crank and sounds like it is sticking on compression then eventually has a continual crank but no willingness to fire up....only on applying a bit of throttle (which i never need to do due to MPI) then she sputters to live and runs relatively ok...

Oil pressure and temperature are fine / normal...power once going is normal and full rev range attainable...

It just does not sound right....

I am going to pull the plugs as i have a sick feeling in my gut that there may be water in a cylinder (ie, leaking from exhaust)...but i hope not, this should be evident in the plugs... will also put diacom on it but doubt that will tell me much...

any other thoughts, ideas etc..? would be welcome..
