"Thanks to all who helped. I think I did a good job on the magnets but amazingly this did not restore my full power. This is disappointing considering the way they were, all loose and shunted up next to each other with just one 1 1/2 inch gap.Appears magnet location not that critical.
So tomorrow I start again from square one."

Last episode - the magnets WERE the problem. But when i changed out the p/pack earlier the plugs didn't make it properly. So I still had one cylinder out - bad cylinder # changed in an erratic way. So my post -magnet sea trial looked as if nothing changed.
I was severely amazed and disappointed.
Re made up the plugs and all is well.
Thanks again too all in the thread. this would be impossible in Antigua without the good advice.
