Just bought this motor on an older Seacraft and keeps intermittently shutting off(usually out in the Long Island sound). Engine runs rough for a moment then cuts off. Immediately after this happens I hear a ticking noise coming from the motor. The motor then turns over and restarts. More information.
Oil mixture system is disconnected
Many wires in the engine to ignition switch harness have been disconnected-they look like some type of audible alarm? Maybe engine warning
(I have just ordered the manual for this motor so please excuse my lack of knowledge here)
any thoughts?
