"I have a '97 Evinrude 25 hp and I purchased a used '99 Johnson 25 powerhead. In looking at Bombardier site of schematic's they show most of the powerhead parts the same for both years. The only differences are the rod bearings, but the '97 p/n was superseded to the '99 p/n. The crankshaft on the '97 shows p/n 338514 but I can't find where it was superseded to the '99 p/n of 435492. Would there be a problem using the '99 c/s in the '97 block? Thanks"
