1997 Mariner 150 V6

I have to change the trim fluid in my '97 Mariner. Just want to confirm it calls for Transmission Fluid?

I have uesd automatic transmission fluid in my tilt trim many times, it works fine and is easy on the pocket book. I use Type F.

D A Q ? Why are you changing the fluid in your trim/tilt? I have a '95 and haven't done that, and this is the first time I heard about it...BF
