Please help me! It all started with a bad rectifier and I figured that was the only problem so yesterday I unplugged the bad rectifier and it seemed to run fine for maybe 10min then the motor started coughing and shaking like it missfired when I gave it more than 50-60% throttle. The motor seemed to choke and I could use less and less throttle until it would die. It starts right away after that but continues to run bad.
The stator measured within spec and the ignotion coils too. Wires are brand new.
Now it runs just as bad on idle with a slight improvement if I remove the ignition wire from cylinder one. No difference between hot/cold as there seemed to be yesterday. If I give it more gas it chokes.
I tried a different tank/fuel line without any differece.
I've probably forgot half of what I've tried and start to get desperate.
