having problems with my motor.

having problems with my motor... rebuilt carb... new plugs/wires...set timing...100 lbs compression on both cylinders... new fuel line/tank/fuel... new coils... still running on just the bottom cylinder. reeds are ok. any suggestions would be appreciated.

"Yep - sounds like - not the stator and the trigger is a single bobbin, so only leaves the box - bummer - it's kinda rare that the switchbox goes on that particular ignition, very well built/durable, so don't be surprised if Merc want 200-300 bucks for a new one...

A used one could last you almost forever if you can find one - ebay maybe..."
