1997 130hp water pump questions

"ok recently pulled apart the

"ok recently pulled apart the water pump and not sure what to make of it. the oring between the cup and the pump housing seemed squashed as per pics. also there was no oring between the impeller and bottom plate'?

I have a new impeller oring plastic key however the bottom plate is concerning me any expert comments?

they come with all of those parts key,impeller,housing,detailed instructions.

my other question before i put her back is there a seal or something that goes on the water pump outlet wich joins to the water tube on powerhead ?
I am presuming nothing goes there just slides up into water tube?

its taperd so the tube fits sn

its taperd so the tube fits snug.(make sure its in) before you bolt up.2 sets of eyes are very helpful
you mean delivery tube in exhaust housing

I retired some years before that engine was manufactured so I'm not knowledgeable in whether the water tube grommet had been superseded by some other method of sealing or not BUT assuming that the grommet still exists...... hopefully you've installed the water tube grommet into the water pump which the copper tube slides into.
 
I went and purchased a new gro

I went and purchased a new grommet and will install it before i put it back on.
I originally asked the marine dealer in australia to sell me a complete kit to wich he replied and impeller and 2 orings is all i needed.
what a load of BS that turned out to be. looking back I should have just purchased a complete kit at least you know everything is ompatible with each other..
he was unsure wether the oring that sits under the key and ontop of the bottom plate should be there or not as OMC had changed that blah blah blah....
oh well live and learn they say and many thanks to you guys that have replied and helped out..

except,...for the 60 degree eng's....due to the small holes that trap marine grass,etc...esp on the coast.....
what is a factory,..........reccomendation,is to hacksaw,the compl end off........lake people,should not have a prob,...but people in grass,will.............cut the end off the therm'os,and u will be better off...
my lake persons,never have a prob,guys that go to the tx coast,due to the tiny holes,constantly have prob's........until,i cut the end off the therm assm."
